Wouldn’t it be great to be a superhero?
I think it’s something every kid dreams of at some point.
Some kids want to be Superman, some dream of being bitten by a spider and turning into Spider-Man. I personally also wanted to be either Captain America or The Punisher.
What’s great is that you eventually discover that each of us possesses our own super powers.
You know what I’m talking about.
It’s that person that just has a way with computers. Or the person who can always break through the noise in a meeting and drops a truth bomb that blows everyone’s mind.
We all have them, and yet, we don’t always identify them in ourselves. Do you know yours?
If you don’t, it’s typically that thing that feels completely natural to you, that others just don’t seem to be able to do.
Mine’s the ability to model people and situations and translate them to other useful contexts.
It’s the ability to see how Sales, Coaching, and Leadership are nearly one in the same.
It’s the ability to take an email sequence someone’s created for one audience, and instantly see how it can be modeled and shifted to fit another.
It likely comes from being the youngest of 4 kids and always watching and learning from what my siblings were up to.
Now in adulthood, it’s my super power.
So what’s yours?
To your success,
Nate
