Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought, "I need a resource to do “x”.

Whether you wanted a tool to do a job, a person to perform a task, or a system to simplify a process. Sometimes all we need is a new way of thinking.

As Dean Graziosi like’s to say, we need to focus through the lens of opportunity not obstacles.

Here’s an example:

When most people get introduced to me and my world they have no idea who I am. Whether they’re introduced via a partner, social media, or some other means. I’ve yet to reach stardom in most circles.

I also have more than a few unique ways of thinking about things. People are unfamiliar with me. They're also unfamiliar with these core areas in most cases.

That presents an obstacle. If someone jumps into my world, and starts reading Reflections today, they may end up “lost in the sauce”.

They’ll find themselves asking “what the hell is D.A.I.?”

“Success Philosophy?”

“Did he just say OODA Loop? Is that like weird keto Fruit Loops or something?”

“Neuro-Linguistic what now?”

“Hypnosis?”

“What’s a Triumvirate?”

“And what’s this wealth pyramid thingy?”

Each one of these could be seen as an obstacle. But looking at them through the lens of opportunity has given me a huge advantage.

Credit to where credit is due, I got the idea from Ryan Holiday. In a case study about his success with The Daily Stoic, he said that most people don't know about Stoicism.

So when they first come across his site there’s an immediate hurdle he has to address.

Instead of viewing this as an obstacle, he viewed it as an opportunity.

He used it to build an email welcome sequence. The sequence introduces people to Stoicism. Gets everyone on the same page. And, it builds immediate credibility, reciprocity, and rapport.

Three key drivers of influence!

When I read this a lightbulb went off in my head. My customers are in the same boat.

They’re unfamiliar with D.A.I., NLP, and everything else I listed above.

It was the perfect chance to create an email welcome sequence. And, leverage it to introduce readers to my world.

Isn’t that great!
