What’s your view on money?

I know, straight to the heart of things aren’t I? I ask because over the holiday’s I was speaking to a relative who recently had a series of expenses pop up.

Nothing insane or of his own doing. A dental thing here. A car issue there. But unexpected expenses nonetheless.

And it got me thinking… in NLP we have a presupposition that the ability to change the process through which we experience our reality is oftentimes more valuable than our ability to change our reality.

In other words, when we change the way we think, we change how we feel, and therefore what we can do.

They saw the bills piling up and saw expenses they’d have to pay for and things they wanted to get in the future that they’d have to forgo.

I heard the same thing and thought about the motivation that would give me to find ways to generate the funds and afford not just what they were hoping to purchase but how I could afford to pay someone else to do that very task in my stead.

Our mentalities will dictate our outcomes. When was the last time you observed your own mentalities and how have those mentalities been serving you?
